I’ve not always played along with sketch challenges because I have a hard time fitting my style into something that isn’t me. I’m pretty stubborn and happy to be the way I am, I rarely find the need to be challenged as part of my enjoyment of papercrafting. So today’s challenge had me a bit befuddled. It was a sketch that I wasn’t really attracted too. I wasn’t sure how I’d do it, but I set out anyway.
Well, I adore the end result. It’s something very not like what I’d normally do, but I am really pleased with it. Thanks to the help of the fantastic MISTI, stamping the “thanks” repetitively was easy peasy.
Supplies: My Favorite Things Sending Thanks stamp set, Hero Arts white embossing powder, Colorbox pigment inks Apricot, Coral, PInk, Peony, Turquoise & Teal, Neenah Exact Index cardstock, WRMK 1/2″ corner chomper, Recollections paper Blue Ombre, My Mind’s Eye enamel dots basics
I love the colors!
